This small, probably- once- dignified- looking building within 2 landmark worthy structures at East 14th Street and 2nd Avenue was stuccoed by and topped off with a boxy, windowless, clashing vertical addition, which I think houses an A/C system. My cell phone rang at just the moment I snapped that photo and I thought it might be Flushing calling.
