Your Memorial Day weekend of beach, barbecues and remembrance has come and gone, but you can still help a local Marine before he’s deployed to the Middle East. Eduardo Ortiz, a Brooklyn resident, is leaving New York this Thursday for training before leaving for Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom.
