Sure, Los Angeles is an okay place to live if you like abundant sunshine and driving up Highway 1 on a weekday afternoon with the top down, a surfboard in the backseat, and Steely Dan’s “Babylon Sisters” blaring on the stereo. But we could never live there! We’d miss the seasons ; these magical winter days playing in the snow and nights making love in front of a roaring fire.
