Ryan Callahan got things started with a goal just 22 seconds into the period to tie the game at 1. Brandon Dubinsky started off a three-goals in two minutes flurry with his 14th of the season followed by another goal from Callahan and one from Avery. The win puts the Rangers back into a playoff spot for the moment. Islanders 5 Chicago 3 : Blake Comeau had a hat trick as the Islanders used four goals in the second period to wipe out a 2-1 deficit.
