Mets 1, Phillies 0: R.A. Dickey allowed one hit — to opposing starter Cole Hamels no less — as the Mets won consecutive games for the first time in an eternity. Dickey also walked one batter and struck out seven, but he couldn’t come up with the first no-no in Mets history. Hamels’ single came in the sixth inning, which was before Carlos Beltran doubled in the only run of the game. Pat Misch will be called up Saturday to start a night game. Liberty 90, Dream 83: Cappie Poindexter had 31 points as the Liberty won to move a game ahead of the Dream in the Eastern Conference standings. New York still trails Indiana.
