Turns out that Sharif El-Gamal, the developer of PARK51 hasn’t been paying his bills for the property and owes $224,000 in back taxes . This ammo for opponents of the controversial development comes days after Donald Trump came out against it and Mayor Bloomberg once again gave his support.
