Paterson Undergoes Additional Eye Surgery
Governor Paterson, who is legally blind, has undergone a short laser procedure to relieve pain in his left eye. A Paterson spokeswoman, Risa Heller, says the governor experienced the glaucoma-related pain on the way to his son’s graduation at New York City nowadays. Ms. Heller says Mr. Paterson was evaluated at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he learned that pressure in his left eye had increased, causing the pain.
