If you refused to shell out airfare and the mildly outrageous $269 weekend pass this year, you’re in luck: according to its website, Coachella is going to be set over two weekends in 2012, April 13-15 and April 20-22. That’s right, “that means same lineup, same art, same place, different people,” and double the money for Coachella and its parent company, AEG Live. [ more › ]

Help A Marine Find His Puppy A Foster Home

Your Memorial Day weekend of beach, barbecues and remembrance has come and gone, but you can still help a local Marine before he’s deployed to the Middle East. With his deployment, Eduardo is looking for a NYC-based foster parent for his seven-month old dog, Honey, through May, 2012 (the length of his deployment). [ more › ]

Zombies Attack Williamsburg!
Zombies Attack Williamsburg!

The weather yesterday was perfect… for eating brains ! As the Memorial Day Eve sun drifted down over Williamsburg the undead took to the streets to groan unintelligibly, laugh maniacally, enjoy zombie-themed drink specials, play reindeer zombie games in McCarren Park, shoot a scene for Punk Rock Holocaust 3 and scare the bejesus out of passersby. All-in-all a nice way to spend a Sunday evening! [ more › ]

Bike Fetish Day 2011 saw pennyfarthings, old school cruisers, and even one bike with a built-in bar and gnarly Led Zeppelin speakers on it, as riders picked up free swag, swapped knowledge, and strutted their shiny, chrome stuff.
