Police were called to a frat house in Boston just after midnight on Monday to find five young men in the basement bound with duct tape wearing nothing but their underwear and coated with flour, coffee grinds, fish sauce, chili sauce, honey, hot sauce, mustard, and empty sardine cans. It is alleged that in June of 2008, pornographic images were found on a school camera that had been in Toth’s possession. Toth also allegedly produced child pornography in Maryland. Toth has often been described as a computer ‘expert”‘ and has demonstrated above-average knowledge regarding computers, the use of the Internet, and security awareness. Toth has the ability to integrate into various socio-economic classes, and is an expert at social engineering. [UPDATE BELOW] A judge ruled on Friday that Brookfield Properties, through the actions of the NYPD, had the right to evict Occupy Wall Street protesters from Zuccotti Park on November 15. The ruling arose after a lawyer for the protester Ronny Nunez asked judge Matthew Sciarrino Jr. to dismiss his client’s charges because Zuccotti Park is required to be open 24 hours. The Times quotes the judge’s opinion: “It is clear that when the defendant was ordered by the police to vacate the park, he was not legally entitled to refuse.” [ more › ]
